You are the branches of a mighty oak tree.
I am the leaves dancing and singing in the breeze.
Love is the roots which without we would cease to be.
For branches and leaves need roots in order to be.

The roots must grow strong and deep if the tree is to live.
In any relationship there must be take and give.
Compromising so that the relationship can live.
Each of us giving the other the best they can give.

Yes, you are the branches and I am the leaves.
With LOVE as our roots we are the best we can be.
So listen to me as I sing to you in the breeze.
Knowing that LOVE has made us a mighty oak tree.
