(This is a “Cento”. A Cento is a poem put together strictly from poems of another poet/poets or another source like magazines and newspapers. These lines come from the poetry in the book “Come Be With Me” by Leonard Nimoy.)

A Patchwork Poem (Touch)

When you touch me
You touch the dream place some call heart
Touch me deep
As only you can do

I need your touch
I need…You
Without you
I am lonesome

Whatever we are; we belong together
We have touched and traveled
Deep into time
Forever one

Please go to Women of Strength and Beauty to download the web set if you like it. Please do not take from this page. Or you will not get the full set. (For the applet I cropped the image out of the background which I did not use on this page. I also did not use a lot of elements that came in the set.)
