This poem is dedicated to my husband and to Dean who have been there for me,working with me.
Thanks for being there!

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

You see past the shell to what I will be.
You see within me exciting possibilities.
I’m under construction; that is true.
And sometimes it gets messy working with you.

The decayed timbers must be replaced.
So my life can be full of confidence And grace.
Yes, you see past the shell to what I will be.
And help me discover within exciting possibilities.

I am under construction, the work far from done.
Yet, each day more and more rooms reflect the sun.
Each day more walls come tumbling down.
And laughter is becoming a familiar sound.

You see past the shell to what I will be.
Imparting stimulating possibilities.
The decayed timbers replaced by new.
The wonderful house I am becoming, in part due to you.

So although at times it gets messy working with you.
I want to thank you for all the believing in me you do.
Thanks for the times I needed you and you were there.
Thanks for being a compassionate person who cares.
