If I Was A Child Again I Would...lie in bed listening to the pitter-patter of rain falling watch raindrops painting pictures on the window lift up my face so rain could caress it, while I catch drops with my open mouth jump in puddles with no boots, not worrying about getting wet follow the rainbow to the end, planning how I will spend the gold lie for hours on my back in the grass, watching clouds go by, and dreaming climb a tree and sit on a branch, hiding from the world as it passes me by swing higher and higher until I touch the sky fly a kite until it is out of sight slide down a slide again and again, feeling the wind do absolutely nothing, feeling no guilt Go fix your own dinner! I have a lost child to find before it is too late! Copyright ©2001
