Spring On The Way
Although snow still falls sometimes;
I know that Spring will soon come.
Bulbs waking up underground.
To grow and bloom in the sun.
As people shed winter gear.
Welcoming a new season.
Earth becoming new again.
Flowers decorate the ground.

(This poem was written based on the style of a poem I read in a book. I don't know what the name of the form is called but it is ten syllable lines. Lines one and two, three and six and four and five rhyme.)
Spring is the season of renewal. It is a time when flowers like daffodils and tulips push their way up through the ground letting us know that warmer days are ahead. Letting us know that Winter will soon bid us farewell. Spring is a time of hope.
I hope you enjoy the poems written in different forms about Spring.
